Once again: the Black Hawk-Eagle.
It looks like the Black Hawk-Eagle decided to make himself comfortable in the neighborhood and almost looks like he feels at home too.
A couple of days ago I saw a dark shadow hidden between the mango leaves. It wasn't one of the usual birds: Giant Cowbirds or Crested Oropendola's. So after a little inspection the mysterious figure was found: it was (once again) the Black Hawk-Eagle.
I wasn't quite sure what it was looking for as it was a warm afternoon and most of his potential preys were hiding.
This Black Hawk-Eagle didn't make a sound at all and stood still for quite some time. A real still hunter, excellent in surprise attacks. Unfortunately it wasn't his lucky afternoon.
