First time that I spotted a House Sparrow in Kabalebo, Suriname.
Small birds have always been a challenge for me to photograph. Especially agile ones who like to play hide-and-seek between the grass stems. In this case I am talking about the Seedeaters.
Here you can see a Yellow-bellied Seedeater (Sporophila nigricollis) resting on a Soursop branch. This seedeater and his large family will keep us company in Kabalebo for the next six months.
