Red-rumped Agouti's are usually seen eating or just seen walking near the lodges of Kabalebo. But have you ever seen them marking their territory?
We have seen Red-rumped Agouti's on a daily basis. They are usually very alert and dash quickly away into the nearest dense vegetation whenever they feel 'threatened'.
On March 30, 2015 the Trophy cam at the Beechcraft trail 'captured' one of the many Agouti's passing by. Only this time it was seen while marking its territory…. the same spot where the Puma was marking its territory.
It was almost like it was making a clear statement!
