Black Curassows are regular visitors seen quite often near the lodge of Kabalebo. Curious birds with a nice hairdo.
Black Curassows are seen in small groups enjoying their stroll through the forest in search of food. Most of the time they are seen at the River Cabin or on the hiking trails in the forest. Very curious birds who quite often like to raise their crest when noticed.
One of the trap cams caught a couple of Black Curassows on the Beechcraft trail. They noticed the trap cam too but were not alarmed. You can see clearly how they are able to raise their crest while looking at the cam. Nothing special but fun to look at.
