April 1, 2015: Happy April Fools' day everybody! Even the animal kingdom can either pull a prank on me or let me laugh. April Fools' day is known as on of the most light-hearted day of the year. A day to take things not too serious in life but rather laugh and enjoy the moment. Sometimes we need this reminder in life and I am pleased to know that even the animals know the value of all of this. Like for instance this Brown Capuchin Monkey that I have seen a couple of days ago. It was looking serious at the moment and at the same time also a bit silly with an Inga fruit in its mouth. We had a great laugh, but did it care? Absolutely not. Another member of the Fauna world that also understand the silliness in life is the Lowland tapir. The truth behind this picture is that it is actually checking its surrounding by its scent of smell and its excellent hearing. Common Squirrel Monkeys have mastered the skill of looking cute and funny at the same time. This Giant Otter had just eaten a fish, its mouth was covered in fresh blood. A predator with a sense of humor. Brown Capuchin Monkeys surely know how to express themselves. This Black Curassow was pulling a prank on us. It saw us shooting, with our camera's, at him and he decided to make himself into a target. I hit the bullseye.
Have fun and enjoy your day! Related article: Comments are closed.
