Long time no see; the Bicoloured Hawk.
After being away for so long, it was so nice to see the Bicoloured Hawk again in the neighborhood. Its presence was made clear by all the small birds in the neighborhood; tanagers, flycatchers, martins and even the swallows joined in.
The Bicoloured Hawk is known for flying so fast at a lower level that you first have to follow it before knowing its identity. After being chased away by the small birds in the neighborhood, this Bicoloured Hawk sought refuge inside this big Mope tree. And by the look at its face it wasn't quite pleased with this kind of treatment.
The Bicoloured Hawk somehow got over this mistreatment and was seen perched inside the Mope tree. I guess that the last breakfast was one for it to repeat as soon as possible. I wonder who's next on the menu.
How fast it also grew. Picture on the left was taken in December 2015 and on the right was taken most recently.
