In the picture: Wildlife of Kabalebo
Some animals I was able to photograph.
Here we have Brutus, the tapir, alongside 2 Black Vultures. I was waiting for the right moment to make Brutus look a little bit cute in this picture.
During an afternoon hike in the jungle we stumble upon this Great Jacamar. A silent bird of the rainforest that always finds the right spot to rest but for you on the ground a headache. There she is resting high up in one of the trees and there you are on the ground trying to find the right open spot.
When the water was on the airstrip we got two unexpected visitors too, the Black-bellied Whistling Duck. A pair landed near the water and rested for a couple of days before departing again. Surely a lifer for me.
