This Streaked Flycatcher was spotted on a cloudy day near the lodge.
I wasn't paying any attention at first when I saw this Streaked Flycatcher. It was a cloudy day and this particular bird was mingling with other flycatchers and Martins. Until I noticed that it was more streaked and less yellow compared with the other flycatchers.
The Streaked Flycatcher (Myiodynastes maculatus) is a large flycatcher with a length of 22 cm. Just like any flycatcher, this Streaked flycatcher was seen perched out in the open and was also seen sallying a couple of times. Because of its streaked appearances it is locally known as Tigri grikibi (tigri means tiger)
Call it also my first and last time so far when spotting this bird. After I took this photo I haven't seen any kind of this sort near the lodge. But you never know.
