A resident of the river edge: Spotted Sandpiper.
Just like the Solitary Sandpiper is the Spotted Sandpiper a small shorebird.
A solitary bird that likes to hunt for fish or insects near the water. They are often seen bobbing their heads while looking for food.
When they are ready to mate their plumage also changes into visible spots on their chest. But when they are not ready to mate the spots will disappear.
