Let's see who also likes to visit Lotje's place. Where the ocelots come by frequently for their nightly treat, I also use trail cams to monitor their behavior when I am not around. The Trail cam works for me 24/7 so let's see who also comes by besides wild ocelots (and me). If you look at the bottom left of this picture you will see one Green Iguana passing by. And same spot another time and another date; one wild Little Chachalaca. A wild Golden Tegu was checking the feeder too during the day. And here there was some action too; 2 Black Vultures and a Red-rumped Agouti. No one got harmed during the making of this photo. This you don't see everyday; a Great Egret. And during the night a Lowland Tapir is looking for his own delicacy too (pineapples, guavas or any kind of fruit). But in the end, it is still the spot for the ocelots. They will come by during the day (when no one is watching) and during the night they wait for their extra treat.
Yes, I have known them for quite a while so I am allowed to approach them too. No one got harmed either. You may also like the following posts: Comments are closed.
