When you don't feel threatened at all; Black Curassows on the move.
Wildlife had always been shy at first. The moment they noticed you, they would immediately run to the nearest dense bush, jump into the river, fly away or move away. So you always had to be ready the moment wildlife shows up. Which doesn't always result in a great photoshoot. But as time went on, they started to notice that they are not being hunted, threatened or caught. So slowly but surely they started to appear out in the open and when there was also enough food for the both of us, they came to take their share.
Black Curassows for instance were quite shy birds at first. Always kept their distance and when they saw you, they moved away. Here you see how cautious they started to walk this path. When I took this picture I had in mind that they would disappear into the nearest tree .....
..... but they proved me wrong. They walked right in front of me. Giving me the opportunity to take a nice 'catwalk' picture.
